Atlas Machinery is pleased to announce their distributorship for chain manufacturers Iwis of Germany in the post-press machinery field.
Iwis manufacture precision chain systems for drive and conveyor purposes for a wide variety of machine and plant manufacturers across multiple industry sectors, including, within the printing sector, Muller Martini, Heidelberg and KBA.
With over 1,000 employees at five European production sites, Iwis are committed to a quality standard at the highest level.
Chains supplied are the OEM parts for print finishing machines including the Müller Martini Bravo, Bravo Plus, Prima and Prima Plus saddlestitching lines, amongst others, and can be supplied by Atlas at a good cost saving.
With many years experience of engineering for the post-press machine industry Atlas’s technical staff, in partnership with Iwis, can provide advice on areas such as chain suitability, lubrication and maintenance to ensure the best possible performance: Iwis claim that their chains will outlast any other chain supplied for Muller Martini stitching lines.
Chains are fabricated in 5m, 10m and 10 foot lengths, and adjusted lengths can either be supplied open or closed. Special lengths (e.g. on coils) are available on request and depending on chain type.
